Federal prosecutors exposed as criminal THUGS who lie, threaten and withhold evidence to win prosecutions against citizens

Andrea Parker, the wife of Nevada Bundy Ranch defender Eric Parker, has come forward with her account of the miscarriage of justice that took place in this famous case.

In a new video published by Northwest Liberty News, Parker recalls how she witnessed egregious abuses of the legal system by federal prosecutors who infringed on free speech rights, lied about what took place during the raids, and obstructed justice by prohibiting the defendants from bringing witnesses to the stand to testify before the jury.

In explaining how her husband, Eric, was not part of a militia, Andrea explains how federal prosecutors had to repeatedly bring new cases to court, as they couldn’t achieve the convictions they wanted – even with all of their interfering and corruption with the process.

A full two years after the incident, Eric was picked up and held for a year, Andrea says, as federal prosecutors attempted to break down the family and extract as much money from them as they possibly could.

“[They said], ‘well, we’re not ready to go to court yet, we need another year’… they have a 90-something percent conviction rate, most of that is plea deals, it’s created to cause the most hardship on the families while making the most money off the inmates,” Andrea said.

“So we made it the year. I couldn’t sit by idly, I had to know what was going on. We didn’t have money for a lawyer, so we got a public defender. So I decided to go down to Nevada,” she added.

Witnesses prohibited from referring to snipers in front of jury

Andrea says when she arrived, there was no media present – despite plenty of media reports skewing the account of what was happening. She says witnessed federal agents, metro police, Nevada highway patrolmen, federal prosecutors, and the FBI all lying on the stand.

“… [W]hen we started to bring witnesses, they told all of our witnesses ‘okay, well, this is still an open investigation, so you come up and you testify, but you’re very likely leaving here with an indictment.’ So we had three people take the stand. One of those was my husband. Even with that picture, they could not get a conviction on one of the 10 felony charges that they had.”

When the feds didn’t get their way, they declared a mistrial and started again. They further stacked the jury, refused to remove certain jury members from the panel that were compromised, and refused to allow any witnesses to speak of the government snipers that were present at the time of the Bundy raid – a point of contention that cost Eric his right to testify, since he made reference to the snipers in his eyewitness account.

Andrea Parker: It’s our duty to remove legislators who refuse to stand up and do the right thing

Andrea says she received little help from anyone, including her own state legislators, until way later after the first and second trials failed to bring a victory for the Feds. This highlights the importance of electing good quality people to office, and removing the corrupt ones.

“We still need to work … (because) when the government wants to win, they will make you proffer your witnesses – that’s not right,” she says. “We have a right to bring witnesses on our behalf. We have a right to testify for the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and that is not allowed in the courtroom.”

“But more importantly, we have a duty to elect people, and hold them to a standard,” she concludes. “We also need to hold people like Steven Myhre and the FBI agents in this case to a standard … this is not the first time that Steven Myhre has done this, and if nothing happens to him, it’s not going to be the last.”
