Obama’s climate change agenda has little to do with climate and everything to do with control

(Freedom.news) President Obama blanketed the skies over the Atlantic and Europe with massive amounts of carbon dioxide emitted by Air Force One and a plethora of other U.S. government craft recently enroute to Paris, where he planned to spend the next few days attempting to convince world leaders that they need to revert their economies back to the 1800s in order to “save the planet.”

Climate change, you see – which he has essentially blamed on more than a century’s worth of American ingenuity – is going to end all life as we know it, says Obama, and unless we act, catastrophe awaits some unfortunate future generation.

Polls show that fewer and fewer Americans believe that or think that “climate change” is even an important issue. In fact, more Americans are concerned about the national debt than climate change.

So why does Obama care so much about it?

Let us be frank: The climate change agenda espoused by our president and others has nothing to do with “climate” and everything to do with controlling the masses – the choices we make, the lifestyles we live, the places we choose where we choose to habitat, the number of children we have, what we drive, how much we consume, and so forth. These people, as constitutional lawyer and talk show giant Mark Levin has noted, are not “progressives” but rather “degrowthers.”

Obama believes that America is not exceptional – that our success as a nation has come at the expense of other nations and other people. We’ve either stolen what we have, or killed to obtain it, or both, and in the end that has enabled our country to leap past all others on our way to the largest economy in the world. [Ironically, these same standards are not applied to the world’s other giant economies – principally China and Japan, at Nos. 2 and 3 respectively; no one could ever argue that either of these nations grew their economies so large through conquest, theft and exploitation of ethnic groups.]

And so, since that’s what Obama believes, he uses the hoax of climate change to advance an agenda that decreases American hegemony while at the same time “levels the playing field” for other nations. That phenomenon occurs only at the expense of the citizens of the targeted country – America – and that can only be achieved through control over our lives.

The logical end to this agenda is that American citizens become no better off than the citizens of all other nations, with the exception of a small managing elite under whose thumb the world’s citizens will live. Think Venezuela writ large.

Paul Driessen, a policy analyst for the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (C-FACT), a free market think tank, had this to say recently about climate change in general and Obama in particular:

“Earth climate always has changed, is always changing, and always will change—but not from fossil-fuel use. Solar fluctuations, deep ocean circulation patterns, and other powerful natural forces have driven climate change and weather events throughout Earth’s history and will continue to do so.

“President Obama’s hubris is breathtaking. He now thinks an army of regulators can control our planet’s temperature and climate by tweaking emissions of plant-fertilizing carbon dioxide, a mere 0.04% of the atmosphere.

“America’s communities do not need to be protected from climate change. They need to be protected from the excesses of authoritarian presidents and bureaucrats.”

Asks Alan Caruba, a C-FACT adjunct policy analyst, “How is it a former ‘community organizer’ possesses a seemingly vast understanding of meteorology? Did they also teach that at the Harvard Law School?”

No, Obama is no expert climatologist; he is an ideologue who was “educated” by Marxist radicals like Saul Alinsky and the “Christian” preacher Jeremiah “God DAMN America” Wright. And his goal is to punish his own country with punitive measure after punitive measure aimed at extracting a toll on a people he believes have benefitted from an inherently corrupt government “system” and economic model.

That’s the only way to explain why he constantly blames the world’s problems on the country that, ironically, elected him to lead it – twice.

The mainstream media will never ask Obama the tough questions about his climate change claims – like, why global temperatures, on average, have not risen for nearly two decades, and why, if global warming is “real,” temperature data has to be manipulated in order to “prove” it. But that’s because many in the mainstream media share his ideology.

However, you can bet they’ll be wondering someday, just like the rest of us, what happened to their once-great country when we’re all equal – equally miserable – and under the control of a relative few.

By then, of course, it’ll be too late.
